This community is in excess of 1 million people who are reliant on the hospice to provide specialist palliative care services to patients with life-limiting illnesses and also bereavement services to adults and children when they are most at need.
We have 19 inpatient beds supporting people with complex specialist palliative care needs who require 24/7 inpatient care. The hospice also has a range of community services to support people living at home and in care homes.
Our expertise covers many life-limiting illnesses – 74% of our patients suffer from cancer but we also support people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases, organ failure and dementia. Many of your clients and even staff will have known someone that has been supported by the Hospice at some point during their lives.

Business Profile

Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity and one of the largest adult hospices in the UK. Our team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and a range of other health and social care professionals provide care and support to individuals with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and family members, completely free of charge.

We serve the growing populations of Havering, Brentwood, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and West Essex and, with only 27% of our funding coming from the government, we need to raise £7.8 million in voluntary income this year.

This income allows us to continue to provide the services we do, completely free of charge. Every donation is important to us, whether it comes from an individual, a school or a large corporate organisation – we value our supporters immensely.
