Board Members

Nexus Networking is overseen by a select board of members to ensure Nexus maintains and sustains growth as well as consistency throughout each month and year. Each board member has their own responsibilities to ensure Nexus has cornerstone aspects within the business overseen at all times.

Rob Browring – Operations Director

Rob oversees all operational aspects within Nexus and chairs the monthly board meeting consisting of the board members listed here. Rob ensures all important aspects within Nexus and its members are discussed to ensure Nexus stays on track with its original principles in addition to new plans and ongoing aspirations. Rob speaks with all board members regularly and attends each of the Nexus meetings to ensure those are being managed effectively and as they should be.

Danny Nevill – Sales & Marketing Director 

Danny oversees the sales and marketing activities throughout Nexus. From the website and members listings to social media posts, emails and signing up new members. Danny is keen to grow each Nexus meeting to 30 members and for Nexus to have groups throughout the UK. Danny works on systems and processes for scalability, particularly when it comes to member signup, onboarding and offboarding in a professional, consistent, scalable manner.

Lee Taylor – Accounts & Member Training

Lee oversees the company’s annual accounts as well as statutory requirements with companies house. Lee ensures all members are added to the accountancy system used, KashFlow and that all members are set up on Go Cardless, the Direct Debiting system for automated payments to tally up with the accounting records. Lee also delivers training to members covering various aspects of business on a bi-monthly basis for all members to enjoy Free from charge.

James Leighton – Operations Coordinator 

James is an IT Specialist who oversees and manages all aspects within the role of Operations Coordinator within each group. James, therefore, ensures that each meeting has its own dedicated Zoom meeting link, that all members and guests can access the Zoom link via the website, members-only WhatsApp groups, and Eventbrite. James manages the Zoom elements within each meeting for consistency and efficiency throughout the meetings.

Tony Baker – Director of the Wednesday Group 

Tony is the Group Director of the Wednesday Group at Nexus. Tony leads the meeting, is in control of the meeting, and ensures each meeting runs smoothly and on time for the benefit of all Nexus members. Tony proactively invites guests and visitors to attend Nexus and ensures both visitors and members benefit from each meeting. Tony follows up with guests after each meeting and welcomes guests to apply for membership with Nexus.

Sara Dennehy – Director of the Thursday Group 

Sara is the Group Director of the Thursday Group at Nexus. Sara leads the meeting, is in control of the meeting, and ensures each meeting runs smoothly and on time for the benefit of all Nexus members. Sara proactively invites guests and visitors to attend Nexus and ensures both visitors and members benefit from each meeting. Sara follows up with guests after each meeting and welcomes guests to apply for membership with Nexus.

Ben is the Group Director of the Friday Group at Nexus. Ben leads the meeting, is in control of the meeting, and ensures each meeting runs smoothly and on time for the benefit of all Nexus members. Ben proactively invites guests and visitors to attend Nexus and ensures both visitors and members benefit from each meeting.
